Full job description

We are a small, venture backed startup that is growing very quickly and in need of a Photographer to join our team full time. You’ll be a part of our Content team and will collaborate with team members to create strong visual concepts that support the brand and product stories. This role is involved in set building, staging, shoot coordinating, and photography. The right candidate loves to take on new challenges and get their hands dirty—ready to dive in and help us continue building our brands with amazing visuals. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work closely with photo stylist to execute photo shoots for product launches and lifestyle scenes, with occasional on-location shoots.

• Maintain studio equipment and organization.

• Maintain studio set & lighting. Bring a creative approach to set layouts and design, ensure the set is utilized in the best way possible for each shoot.

• Manage files with high standards of organization and efficiency.

• Basic video editing including logging footage, basic color correcting, stabilizing, and cutting clips.

• Continue to refine, hone and evolve our brand aesthetic through photography.

• Collaborate with the Marketing team on creating content for ads.

WHO YOU ARE

• Experience as an in-house studio photographer

• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating an ability to produce on-brand creatives

• Keen understanding & ability to speak technically about image composition and lighting

• Ability to stage and shoot to spec, as well as improvise and execute shoots independently

• Experience with Capture One and Tethering or ability to learn

• Experience compositing and retouching

• A detail oriented, self-starter with a strong sense of organization, time management, ability to multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment

• Generally handy and able to problem solve set construction and furniture assembly

• Familiarity with furniture, home goods, retail, or eCommerce brands.

NICE TO HAVES

• Background in Interiors Photography & styling a plus

• Casting experience a plus

• Videography or Grip experience a plus

• Experience with Cinema-4D or equivalent program + Corona rendering software a plus
