The Opportunity

We're seeking an exceptional Vice President of Sales to scale our RRA deployment and take our capital strategy from "1 to n." As the groundwork has been established, you'll build and optimize our investment process with best-in-class brick-and-mortar businesses.

Responsibilities

Investment Funnel Ownership

  • Own and exceed capital deployment targets
  • Guide prospects through each stage of the investment process from discovery to closing
  • Design and refine conversion benchmarks throughout the funnel
  • Present RRAs to qualified businesses and facilitate closing

Strategic Lead Generation

  • Develop sophisticated outreach strategies that connect us with high-potential brick-and-mortar businesses
  • Leverage data intelligence and industry knowledge to identify ideal businesses for RRA financing
  • Build and nurture channel partnerships that generate qualified referrals
  • Implement innovative approaches to sourcing businesses generating $5-75MM in annual revenue

Market Presence & Relationships

  • Represent Bonside at industry events and cultivate a network of brick-and-mortar operators
  • Develop deep understanding of various retail and service segments to identify trends and opportunities
  • Create educational content that positions Bonside as the preferred capital partner
  • Build authentic relationships with operators based on genuine understanding of their needs

Analytics & Process Optimization

  • Implement systems to track and analyze performance throughout the investment funnel
  • Create reporting that provides actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Design scalable processes that maintain quality while increasing volume quarter over quarter
  • Collaborate with the team to refine investment criteria and optimize the RRA offering

Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with or selling into brick-and-mortar businesses, with genuine appreciation for their unique dynamics
  • Track record of exceeding targets in sales, business development, or capital deployment roles
  • Proven ability to build and scale business development processes that drive measurable growth
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics, funnel optimization, and conversion analytics
  • Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred) and sales technology
  • Strategic approach to relationship-building and partnership development
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to make decisions based on metrics
  • Empathetic communicator who can build trust with business operators
  • Goal-oriented with relentless focus on scaling operations and meeting objectives
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or growth roles
