About the Role
Axis is looking for a data-driven and commercially minded Performance Marketing Manager to lead paid acquisition, campaign optimization, and growth performance across digital channels. This role is critical to scaling Axis’ customer acquisition engine, improving marketing efficiency, and driving measurable business growth. You will own performance campaigns end to end, from strategy and planning to execution, analysis, optimization, and reporting. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Data, Commercial, and Creative teams to turn insights into high-performing campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage performance marketing campaigns across paid digital channels.
- Plan, execute, optimize, and report on acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Manage campaign budgets to maximize ROI, CAC efficiency, conversion rates, and growth impact.
- Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Build and manage full-funnel performance marketing strategies from awareness to conversion.
- Work closely with the Creative team to test and optimize ad creatives, messaging, landing pages, and campaign concepts.
- Collaborate with Product and Data teams to improve tracking, attribution, funnel visibility, and conversion analysis.
- Monitor key growth metrics including CAC, CPA, CTR, CVR, ROAS, retention, and payback period.
- Run A/B tests across audiences, creatives, channels, and landing pages.
- Translate performance insights into clear recommendations for management.
- Identify new growth channels and campaign opportunities.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with Axis’ brand, business objectives, and compliance requirements.
- Support marketing planning, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or paid acquisition.
- Hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Experience with campaign optimization, audience segmentation, funnel analysis, and budget management.
- Strong understanding of acquisition metrics such as CAC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, CVR, and LTV.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable growth decisions.
- Experience using analytics and tracking tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Firebase, Looker Studio, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar.
- Strong understanding of creative testing and how ad messaging impacts performance.
- Ability to work closely with Creative, Product, Data, and Commercial teams.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to move fast in a startup environment.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to present performance results and recommendations to leadership.
- Experience in fintech, consumer apps, payments, digital wallets, banking, lending, or high-growth startups.
- Experience managing app acquisition campaigns.
- Knowledge of attribution, mobile measurement partners, and app analytics.
- Experience with lifecycle marketing, retargeting, CRM, or retention campaigns.
- Basic understanding of SQL or data visualization tools.
- Experience working with creative teams on performance-driven content.
