Overview of the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Analyst to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations—to analyze performance metrics, design dashboards, and recommend data-driven improvements that fuel growth.

What you’ll be doing

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources (SQL databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio) for key stakeholders.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical modeling to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
• Define KPIs and measurement frameworks in partnership with business teams.
• Support A/B testing initiatives with pre-test planning and post-test evaluation.
• Automate recurring reporting and analysis pipelines using SQL, Python, or R.
• Communicate insights through clear visualizations and presentations tailored to non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with internal standards and privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with ETL tools or workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow).
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to predictive analytics or machine learning fundamentals.
