We are hiring a Backend Developer to join the team working on next-generation payments, treasury and finance automation systems. This role focuses on building and scaling backend microservices for automated money movement, financial operations, and treasury management.
You’ll work on API development, transaction processing, and backend logic to power financial workflows and treasury functions.

Tech Stack:

• Backend: Node.js, NestJS / Express.js, TypeScript
• Frontend (handled by separate team): React.js
• Architecture: Microservices
• Database: MongoDB (or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices using Node.js, NestJS / Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Build APIs and services to support treasury operations, automated money movement, and financial processes.
• Manage financial transaction data, settlements, and treasury workflows.
• Optimize backend architecture for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Integrate internal and third-party financial systems when required.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and robust error handling across services.
• Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment in a microservices environment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, NestJS (or Express.js), and TypeScript.
• Experience working with microservices architectures.
• Experience in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of financial data processing, transaction systems, or payment gateways is a plus.
• Strong API design and backend architecture skills.
• Familiarity with automated workflows and transaction orchestration preferred.
