📌 Job Opening: Accountant – Tattle (Remote/Hybrid)

📍 Location: Remote – US Based | Full-Time

Tattle is on a mission to help hospitality brands improve operations through real-time guest feedback. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accountant to take the reins from our current accountant and keep our books accurate and processes humming.

🧾 Responsibilities:

You’ll be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including customer billing, payroll coordination, vendor payments, and month-end close. Specifically:

Customer Billing & Accounts Receivable

• Update billing in ChargeOver based on POP updates
• Post ACH payments and update AR reports
• Manage SMS billing and recurring customer invoicing (e.g., Toast, Punchh, Speedline)
• Handle customer requests (invoice copies, W9s, payment updates, cancellations, etc.)
• Create new customers and subscriptions

Payroll & Contractor Payments

• Process payroll including commissions and bonuses
• Handle contractor payments
• Manage expense reimbursements and compensation/title updates

Month-End Close & Journal Entries

• Reconcile bank and credit card feeds
• Post Stripe fees, SMS entries, and benchmarking JEs
• Handle unearned revenue, prepaid expenses, and salary adjustments
• Review AR & AP aging and make adjustments
• Post referral revenue
• Ensure accurate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet)

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor payables and reconcile Cledara expenses

✅ Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience (bonus if with SaaS or subscription-based companies)
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online, ChargeOver, and Excel/Google Sheets
• Familiarity with ACH payments, month-end closes, and revenue recognition
• Detail-obsessed, reliable, and can work independently
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and customers

💡 Bonus Points:

• Experience in hospitality tech or SaaS
• Knowledge of Stripe, Elan credit cards, and Cledara
