Duties / Responsibilities:
Channel & Performance Management
- Own growth strategy and execution for live selling across platforms (Whatnot, eBay Live, etc.)
- Scale show volume, sell-through rate (STR), average selling price (ASP), and GMV
- Lead promotional and audience engagement tactics tailored to each platform’s algorithm and format
- Collaborate with marketplaces on co-marketing, affiliate, and campaign opportunities
- Select, curate, and allocate inventory for each show to ensure relevance, variety, and sell-through potential
- Manage live show calendars, show strategy, and audience targeting across warehouses
- Manage and coach live stream hosts
- Dotted-line manage Streamer Operators who support on-site execution
- Maintain and optimize standard operating procedures for streaming operations
- Travel to warehouses for hands-on training, shadowing, and show improvements as needed
- Ensure seamless pre-, during-, and post-show workflows including set design, product prep, bid management, fulfillment, and follow-ups
- Align content strategy across channels with retail calendar
- Collaborate on creative for high-converting product storytelling
- Partner with Marketplace team to drive traffic and conversion from social into Shopify
- Develop playbooks to integrate future platforms and influencer collaborations
- Support rollout of future marketplace integrations
- Track KPIs including GMV, STR, ASP, CAC, conversion rate
- Analyze content and sales performance to iterate show structure, platform mix, and talent
- Drive insights around product selection and bundling based on shopper behavior
- Make strategic decisions based on resource availability and margin goals
- 5-7 years in e-commerce, social commerce, or DTC, preferably in apparel, lifestyle, or CPG
- Experience managing live selling or social commerce at scale — ideally from TikTok, Whatnot, or a comparable platform
- Demonstrated success in talent or creator management
- Skilled at balancing creative intuition with data-driven decision making
- Collaborative, self-directed, and detail-obsessed — you can operate autonomously but know when to loop in others
- Confident communicator across video, email, and Slack; comfortable giving feedback and presenting ideas
- Agile operator who can thrive in ambiguity and build while scaling
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- 10% - 20% Travel Time
- Familiarity with tools like PIM systems, Rithum, Shopify, Metabase, Google Analytics
