Plantbaby is a digital marketplace for plants, starting out in the Seattle area. Right now, we are market testing our initial assumptions, and depending on the results of that, we'll know what we need to build for MVP. For our market test, we are using the popular ecommerce platform, Shopify.

I am on the hunt for a head of technology to help design the overall technical & business strategy, do some coding at least initially (or hire a contractor), and provide technical leadership and vision. At first, this role will largely be consultative and only a few hours here and there. Over time, the goal is for this position to turn into the head of technology and/or one of the co-founders of the company. Experience in marketplace development such as Etsy, Ebay, OfferUp a plus+
