We’re looking for a Mobile Engineering Intern to help us build and improve the mobile applications that support OneLot’s fintech platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to develop user-friendly mobile features that enhance how our partners and internal teams interact with our systems. You’ll get hands-on exposure to real production code, modern mobile frameworks, and collaborative product development in a fast-moving startup environment.
This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys building mobile experiences, is curious about how fintech products are developed, and wants to strengthen their foundations in mobile engineering while working on real-world applications.
What you’ll be doing:
Assist in developing, testing, and deploying mobile applications for Android and/or iOSCollaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into functional mobile featuresParticipate in code reviews, troubleshoot bugs, and help optimize app performanceWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeSupport ongoing improvements to mobile UI/UX and overall app reliabilityStay up to date with mobile development trends, tools, and best practicesWhat we’re looking for:
Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably with prior internship experienceFamiliarity with mobile development frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, Swift, or KotlinBasic understanding of building mobile applications for Android and/or iOSExperience working with or integrating RESTful APIsUnderstanding of core mobile UI/UX principles and user-centric designComfortable using version control tools (e.g., Git)Exposure to modern mobile development tools and practicesStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communicationCurious, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment
