We’re looking for a Software Engineer Intern (Backend) to help us build the systems that power OneLot’s lending platform. You’ll work closely with our engineering team to develop backend features, improve performance across our services, and support real-world production systems used by dealers every day. This internship is ideal for someone who loves solving technical problems, wants hands-on exposure to scalable backend systems, and is excited to learn how real engineering teams ship products quickly and responsibly.
You’ll get experience in writing clean, reliable code; understanding how distributed systems work; supporting deployments; and collaborating with engineers across product, data, and operations.

Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably with prior internship experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently in a remote setupFamiliarity with at least one backend language such as TypeScript, Python, or JavaBasic understanding of how to build or maintain backend services and work with RESTful APIsExposure to relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and basic queryingInterest in learning about scalable systems, distributed architectures, and production engineeringUnderstanding of core backend concepts such as debugging, monitoring, and code qualityComfort using Git, CI/CD concepts, and modern backend development tooling
