We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Backend to help build and scale the backbone of OneLot’s fintech platform. In this role, you’ll design and maintain the backend services that enable our lending operations, work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features, and ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and fast as we grow. You’ll collaborate directly with our founding and product teams, gaining firsthand insight into customer needs and solving complex technical challenges that shape our business.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend servicesCollaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define and deliver requirementsImprove code quality through reviews, refactoring, and best-practice implementationImplement observability, monitoring, and performance tools for productionTroubleshoot production issues and provide quick, reliable solutionsUphold best practices in testing, deployment, and system reliabilityWhat we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience building scalable, distributed backend systemsStrong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or JavaExperience with relational databases (especially PostgreSQL)Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation toolsExperience building RESTful APIsStrong debugging skills and collaborative communication style
