We’re looking for a Data Science Intern to help us build the data backbone that powers OneLot’s market insights. In this role, you’ll work on developing and maintaining the scrapers that collect used car market data at scale, ensuring our team always has accurate, timely information to guide product decisions. You’ll get hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating with engineers to turn raw data into meaningful intelligence.

What you’ll be doing:
Develop, run, and maintain web scrapers used to collect market dataMonitor scraper performance and ensure timely, reliable data extractionOptimize scrapers for speed, efficiency, and large-scale workloadsProcess and analyze scraped datasets to uncover meaningful insightsPrepare and share reports with internal teamsWork with engineers and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and improve data workflowsWhat we’re looking for:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or similarFamiliarity with Python and scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or SeleniumBasic SQL knowledge for managing and querying datasetsExperience in data cleaning, processing, and visualizationUnderstanding of APIs and data extraction techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently and deliver tasks on time
