About the Role

Muse Tax is seeking a hands-on B2B marketing contractor to lead growth and demand generation initiatives across key verticals: payroll providers, banks, credit unions, labor unions, and tax preparation platforms. You’ll help refine our messaging, optimize funnels, and generate qualified demand for our flagship products — CheckBoost™ and Compass™.

This role is ideal for a resourceful, well-networked, and results-driven marketer who thrives in lean environments and knows how to drive measurable ROI across multiple channels. Familiarity with these verticals — or proximity to networks within them — will be an advantage in accelerating campaign traction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and test outbound campaigns via LinkedIn, cold email, and tailored digital content targeting stakeholders across verticals
  • Create sales enablement collateral including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and product demo scripts.
  • Optimize website messaging and product onboarding flows to improve lead conversion and reduce drop-offs.
  • Launch micro-campaigns and awareness pilots to validate positioning and messaging hypotheses, with a focus on lowering CAC.
  • Track key performance metrics and provide weekly insights with actionable recommendations.
  • Support webinars, co-branded campaigns, and strategic partner events with our vertical partners.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or fintech marketing, ideally within growth-stage companies.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked with or marketed into any of the following sectors: payroll/HCM platforms, credit unions, banks, benefits providers, or tax prep firms.
  • Proven ability to drive demand generation with limited budgets and tight deadlines.
  • Strong skills in copywriting, positioning, and end-to-end campaign execution, especially on LinkedIn and cold email platforms.
  • Comfortable working closely with sales teams to align messaging with pipeline and partnership goals.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, CRM workflows, attribution, and funnel analytics is a plus.
