About The Role

The Inside Sales Manager is a key member of the Revenue Expansion Team, dedicated to reaching out to existing small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers to upsell products and services, enhance customer engagement, and drive overall business growth. This role also supports the team by booking meetings with high-value SMB customers and assisting with outreach to venues that have submitted applications through the me&u website. Maintaining accurate CRM records is also a critical component of this role.

What You'll Do

  • Reach out to existing SMB customers to promote and upsell additional products and services.Conduct regular meetings & follow-ups to ensure customers are fully engaged with and benefiting from me&u offerings
  • Identify customer needs and tailor upsell strategies to meet those needs
  • Develop and deliver targeted engagement plans to increase product adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Identify and prioritise high-value SMB customers for outreach
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate and schedule meetings with targeted customers
  • Provide necessary information and resources to ensure successful meeting outcomes
  • Track and report on meeting bookings and outcomes
  • Contact venues that have submitted inbound applications to discuss their needs and potential fit with me&u services
  • Provide information and support to help venues complete their application process
  • Schedule follow-up discussions as needed to ensure timely onboarding
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and meeting outcomes in the CRM system
  • Regularly update and review CRM data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Utilise CRM data for decision-making and reporting

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with SMB customers
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products and services based on customer needs
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to track customer interactions, sales activities, and outcomes
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to develop and execute targeted engagement plans
  • Strong analytical skills to utilise CRM data for decision-making and reporting
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating meetings with high-value customers
  • Familiarity with the hospitality SMB market and understanding of their unique challenges and needs
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and provide effective solutions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Nice To Have

  • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry; hospitality tech a bonus
  • Knowledge of Hubspot CRM
  • Familiarity with customer engagement strategies and best practices
  • Experience working with SMBs in the hospitality or retail sectors
  • Previous training in sales techniques and methodologies; we follow the MEDDIC Sales methodology
