About Matilda Migration
Co-founded by ex-Eucalyptus and ex-BGC operators, Matilda is completely reimagining the visa application process in Australia by building a first-of-its-kind digital migration platform. We've recently secured Seed-stage funding and are growing fast - this is your chance to get in early and help redefine an outdated industry.
Overview
- We’re hiring another lawyer to join our lean, high-performance team - and if you're a lawyer looking to broaden your horizons beyond a traditional legal career, this role could be for you.
- You'll play a critical role in delivering outstanding legal services to our clients, whilst simultaneously helping to shape the digital product we're building to scale our impact.
- We're looking for an admitted lawyer with a start-up mindset - someone who thrives when working autonomously, enjoys streamlining processes with tech, and is driven by impact.
- This role is perfect for a lawyer who wants to move into startups, as it's an opportunity to utilise your legal experience whilst building a much broader operational skillset and business acumen.
If we’re successful together, this will be career rocket fuel.
The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)
- 🩵 Own the Client Journey: You’ll manage the client relationship and coordinate the visa application process end-to-end using the Matilda platform - from eligibility screening right up to lodgement.
- 🌟 Deliver Excellent Outcomes: Work with senior lawyers and migration experts to prepare and review visa applications with a high attention to detail, and a focus on the client experience.
- 🪄 Streamline and Systematise: Identify workflow bottlenecks and help implement tools and processes that improve speed, quality, and consistency.
- 🤠 Wear Multiple Hats: Collaborate across the business - we’re a growing, early-stage team so your role may flex into Ops or Growth where needed.
