About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager – Commercial Furniture to drive sales and market expansion from our Gurgaon office, managing the North India territory (with a strong focus on Delhi NCR).

This is a hands-on sales role focused on building relationships, closing large commercial projects, and scaling MatBook’s commercial furniture business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive end-to-end sales for commercial furniture projects across the North India territory
  • Identify and close opportunities across corporate offices, co-working spaces, retail, hospitality, and institutional projects
  • Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, PMCs, contractors, and corporate procurement teams
  • Convert project enquiries into confirmed orders through structured follow-ups

2. Key Account Management

  • Own and manage relationships with key enterprise and institutional customers in North India
  • Drive repeat business and long-term engagements
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely coordination with internal teams

3. Pricing & Commercial Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams on pricing, quotations, and negotiations
  • Ensure alignment on margins, delivery timelines, and commercial terms
  • Coordinate with operations and supply teams for smooth execution

4. Market & Category Growth

  • Strengthen MatBook’s presence in the commercial furniture segment across North India
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
  • Share market feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategy

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in commercial / office / institutional furniture sales
  • Strong network within the Delhi NCR and North India commercial interiors ecosystem
  • Proven experience handling B2B projects and large-ticket orders
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing startup environment
