About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager – Commercial Furniture to drive sales and market expansion from our Gurgaon office, managing the North India territory (with a strong focus on Delhi NCR).
This is a hands-on sales role focused on building relationships, closing large commercial projects, and scaling MatBook’s commercial furniture business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Drive end-to-end sales for commercial furniture projects across the North India territory
- Identify and close opportunities across corporate offices, co-working spaces, retail, hospitality, and institutional projects
- Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, PMCs, contractors, and corporate procurement teams
- Convert project enquiries into confirmed orders through structured follow-ups
2. Key Account Management
- Own and manage relationships with key enterprise and institutional customers in North India
- Drive repeat business and long-term engagements
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely coordination with internal teams
3. Pricing & Commercial Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams on pricing, quotations, and negotiations
- Ensure alignment on margins, delivery timelines, and commercial terms
- Coordinate with operations and supply teams for smooth execution
4. Market & Category Growth
- Strengthen MatBook’s presence in the commercial furniture segment across North India
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
- Share market feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategy
Qualifications
- 6–10+ years of experience in commercial / office / institutional furniture sales
- Strong network within the Delhi NCR and North India commercial interiors ecosystem
- Proven experience handling B2B projects and large-ticket orders
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing startup environment
