Director of Brand Marketing

Halfdays is hiring a strategic, creative, and commercially minded Director of Brand Marketing to own how our brand shows up in the world. You will set the brand strategy, lead 360 campaigns, and convert culture into demand across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale. You are equal parts storyteller, operator, and builder who can scale systems without losing edge.
You’ll lead and grow a team, collaborate deeply with our Creative and Digital leaders, and help turn content, partnerships, and real-world experiences into a powerful engine for organic growth.
What you’ll do:
Brand, Messaging, & Campaign
- Define and evolve Halfdays’ positioning, architecture, and voice. Translate strategy into campaigns, social narratives, and real-world experiences that build long-term brand equity and near-term demand.
- Lead 360 brand campaigns from brief through post-mortem across seasonal stories, hero products, capsules, and collaborations. Ensure cohesive creative, media, and social integration.
Go To Market
- Own GTM strategy + planning across all brand functions for all product launches, closely collaborating with merchandising, design, and marketing stakeholders.
Organic Social & Content
- Own the organic social and content strategy across platforms, setting the vision for how Halfdays shows up culturally and creatively online.
- Partner closely with the creative team and digital team to develop content that is distinctive, on-brand, and built to drive engagement, direct traffic, and demand.
- Build systems and team workflows that consistently produce high-quality content from campaign moments to always-on storytelling.
Community Events, Activations & Stunts
- Lead the strategy for community-first marketing, including local and mountain-town events, retail programming, and owned brand experiences.
- Concept, plan, and execute culturally relevant activations and brand stunts that cut through noise and create conversation.
- Identify moments in sport, fashion, and culture where Halfdays can show up in unexpected, meaningful ways that drive both awareness and affinity.
Partnerships, Influencer & PR
- Oversee the brand partnerships strategy, working closely with the PR + Partnerships Lead identifying and cultivating long-term relationships with like-minded brands and cultural institutions.
- Oversee team that leads influencer + creator relationships, talent strategy, and performance measurement to ensure programs drive both brand impact and revenue.
- Oversee PR team and agency, ensuring consistent, compelling narratives about Halfdays across fashion, outdoor, business, and culture.
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team
- Directly manage a team overseeing Organic Social, PR, Influencer, Community, and Partnerships functions.
- Create strong operating rhythms, clear priorities, and a culture of accountability, creativity, and momentum.
Who you are:
- An experienced marketing leader with 8 to 10+ years building brands at high-growth consumer companies in fashion, beauty, outdoor, or lifestyle.
- Deeply fluent in brand strategy, content, and storytelling.
- Experience in fully-integrated GTM strategies with a portfolio of 360 campaigns, launches, collabs, and experiential that delivered measurable results.
- Experienced in building and managing teams, setting strategy, and scaling processes without losing creative edge.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, Product, Retail, and Wholesale partners.
- Operator’s discipline across budgeting, briefs, calendars, and vendor management.
- Highly organized, decisive, and energized by ambiguity and rapid growth.
- Authentically passionate about mountain culture, outdoor lifestyle, and the communities that surround it, you live it, not just market it.
- Data fluency with brand tracking and social analytics

- In-office in Denver with flexible work from home from time to time
- Travel to priority markets and resorts as needed

Salary Range: $130K – $150K
