The Halfdays Customer Experience (CX) department is looking for a Seasonal CX Agent to join the team at our Denver headquarters for this upcoming ski season (October 2025 thru March 2026). There is potential for this role to turn into a full-time, year-round position with the company after the season ends. This role primarily involves handling inbound customer calls, texts, and emails, and requires the ability to do so in a friendly and welcoming manner. The agent will be reporting to the CX Manager, representing the Halfdays brand while delivering above and beyond experiences for our customers.

This role may be cross functional with our Operations and Returns teams, as needed, so the right person is someone who can jump into any task with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Address inbound customer interactions via phone, email, live chat, SMS, and Instagram DMs
  • Work with customers to efficiently address their concerns, such as technical issues, payment concerns, warranty claims, or shipping and delivery questions
  • Provide an unmatched customer experience through expert knowledge of our products and policies, while creating meaningful connections with customers
  • Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers to ask questions, learn about our brand, and share feedback
  • Process customer returns that are sent to the office
  • Potential to assist in processing returns at our Denver-based fulfillment center on an as-needed basis
  • Moderate customer reviews by responding with gratitude, and/or offering additional support if needed
  • Meet department-led objectives by being successful in all performance metrics put in place by the Manager
  • Embody the brand values of Halfdays, and contribute to a positive team environment and culture

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of prior CX experience in a customer-centric ecommerce business
  • Working knowledge of Shopify or similar ecommerce platform
  • Working knowledge of Gladly or similar customer support system
  • Practical knowledge of customer service best practices
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Empathetic and personable phone etiquette
  • Ability to maintain a calm and collected demeanor, even in stressful situations
  • As this is a seasonal role, open availability during the holidays is a must!

Salary Range: $19-21/hr DOE
