Essential:
The Director of Growth Marketing will lead Flaus' marketing strategies at a critical growth juncture, developing a unified approach to build a seamless, high-impact marketing flywheel. We're seeking a strategic and creative leader who can optimize our channel mix, identify new growth opportunities, and reduce customer acquisition costs. The Director of Growth Marketing will develop an integrated strategy across paid media, influencer marketing, SEO, Amazon and CRM to foster customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, significantly impacting Flaus' growth trajectory and positioning the brand as a market leader in consumer wellness.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic paid marketing: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive performance marketing strategy focused on paid media, influencer partnerships, SEO, and CRM.
Channel optimization: Review, analyze, and optimize the current channel mix for growth and efficiency.
New channel growth: Identify and test new channels to diversify reach and increase scalability, including Youtube, TikTok, OOH, etc.
Customer demographic research: Conduct in-depth research on customer demographics, behaviors, and preferences. Use these insights to refine targeting strategies, inform product development, and enhance overall marketing effectiveness.
Audience targeting: Establish detailed, actionable audience segments and define measurable customer KPIs to track and refine growth efforts.
Test plans and CRM development: Develop, forecast, and execute iterative test plans to drive incremental revenue. Create a robust CRM playbook that builds customer loyalty based on data-driven learnings.
Copywriting and content strategy: Oversee the development of compelling, on-brand copy for various marketing channels. Craft messaging that resonates with our target audience, effectively communicates our value proposition, and drives conversions across all touchpoints.
Ad testing & iteration: Drive A/B testing and creative iteration to ensure a continuous learning approach, optimizing creative strategies for better performance.
Cross-functional communication and collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, finance, and creative teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with overall business goals. Work with CRO / e-commerce to improve website efficiency as well as legal on product marketing claims.
Team leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and data-driven decision-making.
Who You Are:
You're a self-starter excited to drive growth and brand awareness in the health & wellness space. You have helped profitably scale a consumer product brand across numerous channels. You're an experienced team player in consumer brand marketing with a passion for developing data-driven strategies and optimizing cross-channel performance. With your strong background in CRM, loyalty programs, and building brand voice, you're eager to build and scale initiatives that increase customer lifetime value and retention. 🚀
What You'll Need:
7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position
Proven track record in performance or growth marketing within consumer brands
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop data-driven strategies and optimize cross-channel performance
Ability to ingest data and formulate a creative marketing strategy, with the capability to manage partners and execute
Experience in building and scaling CRM programs that increase customer lifetime value and retention
Proven ability to plan, execute, and analyze test plans that drive actionable insights and incremental revenue growth
Must be a self-starter that is curious and excited to take initiative
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Background in e-commerce and DTC brands
Nice to Have:
Experience in the beauty, wellness, or oral care industries
Experience with CRO / website optimization
Graphic design background
Brand marketing experience
Experience with retail, out of home or other non-digital marketing channels
Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnership development
