User Acceptance Testing Specialist (SaaS Platform)
You'll play a pivotal role in assuring our InsurTech SaaS platform's new features meet user expectations and business requirements by designing and executing comprehensive user acceptance testing (UAT) plans. You'll bridge the gap between development and deployment, collaborating with software engineers to ensure a smooth and successful release of new features.
You'll work remotely for the most part so you'll need to have excellent online communication skills.
- UAT Test Planning & Design:
- Review new feature specifications and work with product teams to understand user needs and desired outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive UAT test plans encompassing user workflows, functionality, usability, and performance.
- Design test cases for various user roles and scenarios, ensuring thorough coverage of new features.
- UAT Test Execution & Reporting:
- Execute UAT test cases independently and methodically, documenting findings and identifying defects with clear steps to reproduce.
- Provide timely and accurate UAT reports, highlighting major issues, usability concerns, and areas for improvement.
- Track progress against UAT deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders on identified risks and dependencies.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with developers to resolve identified defects through effective bug ticketing and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize issues and advocate for user needs.
- Participate in UAT meetings, providing clear and concise explanations of testing results and recommendations.
