The Role
We are looking for high-impact MBA interns to join our team for the summer to support our operations and product teams. You will own a project that directly impacts our 2026 growth trajectory. You will work cross-functionally across Product, Growth, and Clinical Operations to solve complex problems and help build the infrastructure for our future expansion.

Sample Projects

  • Strategic Growth Initiatives: Conduct market research and financial modeling to evaluate new business lines (e.g., expansion into new states, employer wellness programs, or health plan partnerships).
  • Operational Efficiency: Map out and optimize patient journeys or internal clinical workflows to improve margins and patient NPS.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze user engagement and clinical outcome data to provide recommendations to the Product and Marketing teams.
  • B2B Strategy: Support the sales function in developing pitch decks and ROI calculators for health plan and employer partners.
  • Booking Flow Optimization: Redesign booking flow logic to account for plan eligibility, branching rules, and capacity allocation by payer.
  • Content Governance Dashboard: Build a lightweight dashboard to prioritize clinical content review using traffic, recency, SEO trends, and risk tagging.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current MBA Student: Currently enrolled in an MBA program.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of pre-MBA experience in management consulting, investment banking, healthcare, or startup operations.
  • Passion for Women’s Health: A deep interest in women’s health/digital health, healthcare equity, and Elektra’s mission to support women in midlife.
  • Analytical Rigor: Ability to define success metrics and to turn messy data into clear, actionable insights using Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Ownership Mentality: You are a self-starter who thrives in "zero-to-one" environments and doesn't wait for a prescriptive manual to get started.
  • Workflow & Systems Thinking: Strong understanding of how product decisions impact operations, clinical quality, and scalability.
