Overview

Electric is seeking a Provisioning Specialist to perform device setups and configurations from our NYC HQ office. Reporting to the Manager of the Hardware Lab, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that devices are configured to meet customer expectations while adhering to agreed-upon timelines. This position offers a collaborative and team-oriented environment, with opportunities to enhance our provisioning process, exceed customer expectations, and uphold KPI standards. This role will be on-site, in our Denton, TX office, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST.

What you’ll do

• Work with multiple Customer Success departments to provision computers to customer specifications in a timely fashion.
• Provision client hardware (Windows and macOS) using a range of tools including but not limited to: MDM technologies (Jamf, Kaseya and Intune)
• Apple Configurator - Basic understanding of configuration iOS devices and enrolling devices into ABM
• Perform quality control on completed provisioning and ensure they are provisioned according to customer operational procedures.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders
• Implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures
• Provide support for the Logistics, Provisioning, Inventory and Repairs Teams as needed
• Deployment and configuration of Software

Who you are

• 1-3 years of experience in an IT role
• Experience configuring devices in a professional environment
• Experience with MDM technologies
• Technical knowledge of computer hardware and software
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faulty hardware
• Excellent time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
• Ability to evaluate processes/procedures to help make improvements
• Identity Governance and Administration, User Provisioning, Access Certification, Identity Analytics, Role-Based Access Control
• Proficient Active Directory, Intune and Azure AD management
• Critical Thinking/Problem Solving

Physical Requirements

This is a physical role that requires the ability to lift boxes, equipment, or inventory items, weighing up to 25 pounds. You must be comfortable with a mix of both computer and physical work and have the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, especially when physically handling IT equipment.

Where?

We are headquartered in NYC, with an office in Denton, TX and remote locations across 27 states. Our largest markets outside of the Tri-State area and Dallas-Fort Worth area are San Diego, Denver, Raleigh. We embrace a hybrid culture and offer opportunities throughout the year for folks to get together in regional markets or at HQ. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones.
