Burros can be described as Disney's Wall-E for agriculture and work outdoors, in a pragmatic version 1.0 format. Today, Burros are people-scale to small-vehicle-scale (<1500 lb) autonomous ground vehicles that autonomously haul, tow, mow, spray, and patrol to save labor - these five tasks, are the most ubiquitous jobs to be done outdoors. While Burros work, each one is online and processes 5 TB / hour of run time / robot and sends novelty back, enabling the entire fleet to get smarter daily. Burros are designed to lay the base for the fully autonomous future of work outdoors.
We have sold over 700 Burros to date and have done over 100 years of autonomous driving. Roughly 70% of our sales are through dealers, and our customers operate Burros in nurseries, vineyards, berries, industrial sites, construction sites, and beyond. Demand for our product is exploding, and we are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer to join our leadership team and take our sales, customer success, and marketing team to the next level of growth (expanding our current 2.3X growth rate towards 3X plus, and growing us from 700 systems sold to over 1000 in the next 12 months).
The ideal candidate is a data-driven, empathetic, high-EQ and high-IQ leader, who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get things done at a startup-style player/coach stage, while also creating and enabling infrastructure and team practices that unlock faster, more repeatable, and more scalable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Burro’s Go-To-Market strategy, building on an existing GTM foundation to drive predictable, scalable, and sustainable growth from almost $9M last year, to $20M+.
  • Grow bookings 3X in 2026.
  • Lead and develop our world-class Go-To-Market team, which includes Direct & Channel / Dealer Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
  • Scale customer adoption and robot deployment by optimizing existing sales motions, channel/dealer partnerships, and market segmentation.
  • Drive revenue predictability and operating excellence, owning forecasting, pipeline health & metrics, pricing and packaging strategy, and unit economics in close partnership with Finance and Operations.
  • Serve as a core executive partner to the CEO, CFO, and Board, clearly communicating revenue strategy, performance, and risks to support strategic planning and fundraising.
  • Understand the competitive landscape to establish Burro as a category leader in autonomous outdoor robotics by refining go-to-market narrative, differentiation, and market presence as the company scales.
  • Ensure we have the world’s largest fleet of robots working outdoors by executing on aggressive sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in business, marketing, sales, or related field; MBA or degree in engineering a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive Go-To-Market leadership experience, including senior ownership of scaling an established revenue organization through its next phase of growth, with a high tech product sold into agriculture, construction, or a related industry.
  • Proven success growing bookings from $8M–10M into $50M+, with increased predictability, efficiency, and enterprise readiness.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and developing a world-class Go-To-Market team Industry experience in agriculture, construction, robotics, industrial, or adjacent markets; comfort operating in technically complex organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with a track record of partnering closely with executive leaders, Boards, and investors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications, Excel, Powerpoint, Hubspot, Slack.
  • Travel required up to 40%+ of the time.
