This role sits at the heart of our Sales Team, serving as the connective tissue between our field sellers and every internal team and external partner that helps get our products onto shelves and into the hands of the people we love feeding. What You Will Do:
- Lead Business Development team, projects, and processes, providing Sales context on strategy and go-to-market requirements across functions as necessary.
- Project manage business needs for assigned channels/customers, partnering with field sellers and cross departmental stakeholders to unlock and accelerate growth.
- Support creation of Innovation and Change Management selling materials and communicating progress to keep Sales in lock step, collaborating with Marketing, Finance, and Operations on final assets and details.
- Execute key Sales meetings, shows, and cross functional Marketing endeavors that drive revenue in tandem with the Business Development team.
- Recommend resources and improved procedures for both internal and external partners to make gaining and maintaining distribution seamless based on channel/customer learning and team feedback; define, communicate, and support adoption of best practices within Sales and for working with other functions.
- Track expenses, inform budget planning, and justify new expenses within specified scope of Sales activities.
- Flex into specific projects or recurring activities to support Sales leadership needs as capacity allows.
- Travel up to 15% of the time.
Your experience:
- 4+ years CPG experience required
- 1+ years project management and cross functional experience required
- 1+ year people manager or supervisor role required
- Experience with industry portals, processes, and teams strongly preferred (1WS/Syndigo, UNFI/KeHE portals, trade shows, product commercialization, supply chain)
