A non-exhaustive list of the things we’re pro: productivity, produce, proficiency, protractors (just us?), pro-blem solving, and procurement. Coincidentally, we are looking for a proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our team of prolific professionals. We’re looking for an individual who’s detail-oriented, passionate about analyzing data, and fosters evergreen relationships everywhere you go. What we’d love to know is: on a scale of 1 to “pro,” how do you fit the bill?

About you:

  • ‘Highly motivated with the ability to multitask’ is either your bio on LinkedIn, or a sticky note on your mirror that you read to yourself every morning.
  • You live for spreadsheets and top-tier organization, and you’re truly a whizz with data.
  • Your organizational skills are stronger than Luisa Madrigal and The Rock... combined.
  • Every day is a new opportunity for you to grow and learn something new. You’ve got a thirst for knowledge because—like you always say—”knowledge fuels results!”
  • Building relationships is your cup of tea/tumbler of cold brew/cold glass of celery juice, or whatever drink you choose.
  • The words “clear” and “concise” are always used to describe your communication. Whether you’re chatting with a close friend, meeting with a member of your team, or communicating cross-functionally, you know just what to say and when to say it.
  • Your mom, friends, family, and unbiased strangers would all agree that you’re a ‘cool cat’ that inserts fun into every task, activity, and conversation.
  • You’re a team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives.

What you will do:

  • Track and report contract volume commitments, and compare to usage.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, and expedite orders as needed.
  • Manage and track inventory levels warehoused throughout our network of manufacturing partners, packaging suppliers, raw material suppliers, and 3PLs.
  • Track and report material obsolescence.
  • Facilitate month-end inventory reporting.
  • Submit Purchase Orders and review and approve invoices.
  • Support quarterly pricing reconciliation.
  • Set up new items in ERP systems.
  • Work with the Quality team on adhering to a robust Supplier Verification Program.
  • Maintain documentation and certification (Non-GMO, Gluten free, etc.) status as appropriate through the use of supplier management software.
  • Ability to travel on an as needed basis.

Your experience:

  • Comfort with Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups is required
  • Previous experience within Procurement or Sourcing is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in ERP systems is a plus
  • Understanding of CPG industry and food manufacturing is a plus
