About you:

  • Every morning you wake up and say, “Seize the data!” You’re a data lover through and through.
  • People use the words “clear” and “concise” to describe your communication—which is why you’re great at collaborating, especially across functions.
  • Like Nancy Drew or Sherlock Holmes, you’ve got a knack for sorting through data, finding what’s important, and solving problems with that information. What’s more? You’re great at explaining your insights to others as well!
  • On a scale of 1-7 (7 being the best), you’re a 7 (Siete!) when it comes to working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change.
  • You see the value in storytelling with words, but telling a story with data? Well that’s what makes your heart glow!
  • Presenting data analytics is to YOU as peanut butter is to jelly (or tortillas are to cheese!). As in, it’s your thing!
  • You love where you live. We get it, we love where we live too. This position could be remote for the right fit.

What you will do:

  • Develop selling stories and materials by analyzing scan and consumer data for assortment, placement, pricing, and promotion recommendations in support of business initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales account leads on customer specific selling opportunities and critical information needed to support Siete and retailer objectives.
  • Collaborate with Brand and Innovation teams to build selling materials that support distribution placement and on-going business support.
  • Communicate category and competitive trends through regular reporting and/or presentations to Sales and the broader Siete team where applicable, identifying key insights, drivers, and/or opportunities.
  • Contribute to cross functional innovation planning and strategy led by Commercialization with category overviews and Sales insights.
  • Support ad hoc analytical requests for business questions and represent data gaps or reporting needs to address.
  • Maintain and optimize selling resources as new data becomes available.

Experience:

  • Strong grasp of industry data available from syndicated partners like SPINS, Circana, and/or Numerator as well as direct customers and distributors (ex. Whole Foods, Walmart, Target, UNFI, KeHE) required
  • Proficiency in Excel including comfort with vlookups, pivot tables is required
  • 3+ years in food/beverage CPG sales and/or category management strongly preferred
  • Comfort with Google Slides and Powerpoint is preferred
