Position Overview
We are seeking a mission-driven, senior-level Sales & Account Executive who is passionate about making a meaningful impact while driving results. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on outreach, requiring a seasoned professional who can roll up their sleeves to connect with RIAs, owners, and operators. A strong background as a financial advisor, RIA, or wealth management professional is highly preferred.
You’ll lead our advisor sales efforts by leveraging your industry knowledge to forge relationships, generate leads, and drive adoption of BeyondWill’s platform. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who aligns with our mission and thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Outreach: Identify and target high-potential RIAs, advisors, and firms to introduce BeyondWill and demonstrate the platform’s value.
- Pipeline Leadership: Own and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to close, ensuring consistent growth and meeting revenue goals.
- Hands-On Prospecting: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage potential clients while also driving awareness of our platform.
- Relationship Building: Leverage your experience in the advisor/RIA space to build trust and rapport with prospects, positioning BeyondWill as an essential partner for their practice.
- Collaborate & Lead: Partner closely with internal teams, including marketing and product, to refine messaging, share market insights, and advocate for advisor needs.
- Evangelize the Mission: Align with BeyondWill’s mission to deliver meaningful estate planning tools that protect families and assets, and communicate this passion to prospects.
What We’re Looking For
Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial advisory or RIA space. Deep understanding of estate planning, wealth management, or financial planning.
Proven Sales Success: Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B or B2B2C sales environment. Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Leadership & Hands-On Experience: Ability to think strategically while executing tactically—willingness to lead by example and engage in direct outreach (calls, emails, meetings). Experience mentoring or managing junior sales reps or sales teams is a plus.
Mission Alignment: A demonstrated passion for estate planning, family protection, or financial security, aligning with BeyondWill’s mission to simplify and humanize estate planning.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to clearly articulate BeyondWill’s value to advisors, firms, and other decision-makers.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Keap, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools. Comfort with leveraging data insights to drive sales strategies.
Relationship Building: Proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with advisors, RIAs, and other key stakeholders.
Startup Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining focus on goals. Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of adapting to evolving priorities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required if extensive relevant experience is present).
Availability: Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with prospects, attend conferences, or participate in client-facing events.
