What You'll Do:
Lead the design, prototyping, manufacturing, testing and qualification of a satellite battery system including the battery pack, as well as charging, discharging, and Battery Management System (BMS). Work closely with the power systems engineering and mechanical engineering teams to develop a complete, flight-ready solution.
What You'll Bring: (required)
- BS or higher in electrical engineering
- 5+ years of experience developing lithium chemistry battery systems
- 5+ years of experience designing DC-DC power converters and/or battery chargers
- Experience with industry standard electrical engineering and layout tools
- Located in the Portland, OR metro area (or willing to relocate)
What You'll Bring: (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience developing lithium chemistry battery systems
- 10+ years of experience designing DC-DC power converters and/or battery chargers
- Experience with multi kilowatt power systems
- Experience with spacecraft power systems (PCDUs, solar arrays, etc.)
- Knowledge of aerospace qualification processes
- Knowledge of aerospace reliability analysis and industry practices
- Deep knowledge of battery chemistries and performance parameters
- Experience with rapid prototyping
- Experience with Altium, SIMPLIS, etc.
Base Salary
The base salary range for this position is $125,000-210,000. When determining an individual’s compensation, we consider several factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data, so pay for this role may vary from the amounts listed.

The base pay range for this role is $125,000 – $210,000 per year.
