Come join us in shaping the future! Get in on the ground floor as an early member of our team as a Supply Chain Lead developing a revolutionary satellite communications system. Connect the vision to the hardware, build it, test it and fly it.
AscendArc is a seed stage startup founded to revolutionize the satellite communications industry. We are looking for doers who want to work in a ground-breaking and fast-paced environment. Our success will depend on your energy, skill, and creativity.
What You'll Do
- Own our end-to-end supply chain—sourcing, procurement, inventory, logistics, all of it.
- Work directly with engineers to understand what we need and find the right suppliers to make it happen.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, negotiate deals, and keep a pulse on lead times and risks.
- Keep materials aligned with program schedules, so our build and test teams never get stuck waiting.
- Run and refine our inventory, warehouse flow, and ERP/MRP data (we’re still shaping our tools—your input matters).
- Drive improvements around cost, lead time, quality, and process as we grow.
- Make sure we’re compliant with export controls and aerospace requirements (ITAR/EAR, AS9100, etc.).
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, or hardware operations—ideally in aerospace, defense, or complex hardware startups.
- Someone who knows their way around electronic, mechanical, RF, or propulsion hardware supply chains.
- Strong negotiators and relationship builders who can manage a network of suppliers.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and keeping BOM/material data tight.
- Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where processes are still evolving.
- Clear communicator who can work closely with engineering, production, and leadership.
- A problem-solver who’s scrappy, resourceful, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- You’ll have real ownership and shape how our supply chain runs as we grow.
- A tight-knit team that values transparency, creativity, and getting things done.
- Competitive salary + equity—your work directly impacts our mission.
- Flexible hours, flexible work style, and a culture built on trust.
- The chance to build spacecraft that actually go to space. (It never stops being cool.)
