What You'll Do:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment and components as well as identifying and ordering equipment to set up and maintain rework areas. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience with electronic systems, and the ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation.
What You'll Bring: (required)
  • Associate degree or technical certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience soldering, repairing or replacing defective parts, wiring, and testing printed circuit boards
  • 5+ years of experience assembling, installing, testing, and/or maintaining electronic equipment and components
  • Experience using BGA rework stations to remove and install components in QFN and other SMT packages
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Experience executing test plans and documenting test results
  • Experience with industry standard schematic and layout viewing tools
  • Experience collaborating with engineers & production teams to resolve technical issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Located in the Portland, OR metro area (or willing to relocate)
What You'll Bring: (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits
  • Experience creating test plans and developing test environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Experience with multi kilowatt power systems
  • Experience with spacecraft power systems
  • Knowledge of aerospace qualification processes
  • Knowledge of aerospace reliability analysis and industry practices
  • Experience with Altium, SIMPLIS, etc.
  • Basic programming or firmware experience
Compensation
This is a non-exempt position and the hourly pay range is $30 - $55. When determining an individual’s compensation, we consider several factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data, so pay for this role may vary from the amounts listed.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $30 – $55 per hour.
