In this critical role as the Sr. Director Government Business Development you will be responsible for business development efforts, including proposal writing, with our government clients.

Responsibilities

Lead the pursuit of US and international government business development for a communications satellite startup. Identify and foster opportunities and build relationships with key government customers. Develop responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in government satellite communications, business development or proposal development
  • Knowledge of government satellite communications customers, usage and programs
  • Strong relationships with US Space Systems Command and other government satellite users
  • Experience with the US government procurement processes
  • Experience with proposal writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • US citizen with the ability to hold a Secret Clearance or above

The base salary range for this position is $170,000-$225,000. When determining an individual’s compensation, we consider several factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data, so pay for this role may vary from the amounts listed.
